Rezumat
În 1957, în plin Război Rece, Hogarth Hughes, un băiat de nouă ani dintr-un orășel din Maine, descoperă un robot uriaș venit din spațiu și se împrietenește cu el. Cu ajutorul artistului Dean McCoppin, încearcă să-l protejeze de un agent guvernamental convins că robotul reprezintă o amenințare.
